Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 she portrayed the lead character in various television dramas. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed.
