Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 she portrayed the lead character in various television dramas. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. Other Oscar nominated movies featuring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Through the years, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of notable international and national projects. These projects included British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. She also remained member of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
